We offer an exciting night of adventure for the experienced and beginners. Our basic trip consists of a 4hr trip on a pre selected Central Texas lake or river. All equipment is provided. Personal equipment is welcomed.
2 person minimum 4 person max. For ages 11 and up. Please let us know at booking if you have any left handed shooters in your party.
Man! I had never even heard of bowfishing before, but a coworker mentioned it So we booked a trip with Awesome, and it was just that! I was pretty good for my 1st time. I shot 2 gar and a common carp. I was so excited! Rick did a great job of explaining how to safely use the equipment and put us right on the fish. Great time going again soon!
Q:How much is a trip?
A:Our basic trip consists of a 4hr guide which usually runs past the 4hr mark if our guests are enjoying their adventure. All equipment is provided. We have a two person minimum and four person maximum. Our current rate is $200 per person for the first two shooters, and $100 per person for the third and fourth shooters.
Q:What do I need to bring?
A: You will need a fishing license, comfortable footwear, weather appropriate clothing, pesonal drinks, snacks, and a great attitude.
Q:What can I expect?
A: Expect a night of fun. sticking fish is very exciting, but can get messy. Expect some blood and fish slime. Bowfishing is a physical sport with alot of standing, and holding a bow for long periods of time will get tiring. Shooters under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
Q:What if I've never bowfished before?
A: We will provide a short demonstration of how the equipment works from knocking an arrow, to shooting the bow, to removing your fish from the arrow.
We will also go over some saftey guidelines to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
